Trinidad and Tobago, located in Central America with a population of about 1 million, managed to get into the World Cup. What about Singapore, with our vision of 2010? I think the furthest we could go is sending our referees there.
I don’t think anyone expected a score of 0-0 because their opponent was Sweden, initially people thought that Sweden had a great chance. HOWEVER, for this match, they were really crappy, missing so many chances for us to shout GOALLL. T&T on the other hand, played great.

Our very own referee Shamsul Maidin was very firm, ignoring others when he sent off a T&T player. He is now the first referee of WC2006 to send a player off (red card), putting Singapore on the map! However if he continues this attitude there, I doubt he will return to Singapore in one piece.
