Three new books
During my dinner break from work (i’m working on weekends only), I went down to Kinokuniya at Ngee Ann City to grab a few books. Basically I went there to get the book my brother asked me to get. Twilight. But I had absolutely no interest in it despite Edric & Prunella both liking it I suppose?
I always wanted to get “The Last Lecture“, but hesitated for quite a bit. He died on the 25th of July. I like the book a lot. I read half of it before going to bed last night (it is a thin one). And as my type this, my arm is resting on the book itself. Going to continue reading it as soon as I finish typing this. I know that by purchasing this $18 book with a 20% discount from Kinokuniya, a percentage of it will go to Randy Pausch’s family.
Oh ya, did I mention that the F1 race this weekend was probably one of the most exciting that I have ever watched? Yes I do watch F1, and it gets boring sometimes. But for yesterday’s race? It’s dramatic!

I saw the book too while I was at Borders, though it did seem that the book had some stuff that wasn’t inside the video.
I’m pretty sure the video had stuff that isn’t inside the book too though, like pictures and videos and whatnot.
To hear him give the “lecture” is also better imo ‘cos its from his point of view and you can kinda catch his emphasis better.

My goodness you beat me into buying it! Ha ha I was at kino a few days ago but it was before my friend asked me about The Last Lecture though… I could have gotten it if I was there! Argh but I’ll find time to head down there again soon! Yeah heard it was good so’ve been dying to read it… And Twilight series is good!!
And I could hear F1 blazing out my boyfriend’s place yesterday we were sitting at the balcony and watching those tiny cars whizz by. He stays near there….
Timothy: Ya I watched it. But to absorb it better, I bought the book. And reading the book is actually more fun.
