Received a call at about 8pm, it was Steph. She told me to go ahead with our appointment earlier, because we were supposed to meet for some pratas at Jalan Kayu, but I overslept. 

Steph: Blah blah blah….
Me: Erm, what's the time now? 8? Ok meet at 9, Grapevine?
Steph: Oooo ok. What time does it close?
Me: Erm, approximately 2am - 3am?
Steph: HUH. Like that meet at 11 also can what! Ok meet at 11.
Steph: You mind if I bring a friend along?
Me: Ok.

So there you go, since tomorrow is CATURDAY I can stay out. After Accountings, everything feels so relax haha.

Waited till 11. Went to Serangoon MRT to pick her up, apparently the friend didn't come.

Let me do a little introduction to Grapevine. It's just behind my house, and a few bus stops away from Steph's. So obviously it's a very good location to meet up and talk about whatever shit you want to talk about. Recently, they just moved. And I wasn't a fan of the open area concept.

Before the move, Grapevine had 2 partitions (as above, the non-smoking zone). On the left, it's a smoking area, and of course the other was a non-smoking area. Spent a year or more hanging out there.

So anyway they moved on 1st August. And I hadn't been back since yesterday. I didn't really like the open concept, because I loved the aircon.

Went there yesterday, sat outdoors and wow, I prefer the ambience. Much greater area, so I didn't have to wait to get seated etc. It was crowded. The menu has more alcohol. We ordered:

1. Margarita
2. 2 Oreo Frappe (duh!)
3. Boneless chicken with mushroom and mashed potato

The Oreo frappe changed, the taste is sooo much better. 

Been long since I last ate anything other than Baked Rice from there, because I simply love their baked rice there. But the change to Boneless chicken proved to be a good choice.

Margarita was good, but Steph drank all .
