School was great today
Business Finance tutorial in the morning and I think that, it was alright… pretty much ok, first tutorial of the semester is always introductory.
After that, it was the emergency-make-up-HRM-tutorial-because-of-the-Thursday-public-holiday tutorial. It was fun. I like it. Whether I score or not, is another issue.
Then had APEL at 2pm, and was chosen to be the class vice-chairman. The chairperson is a lady.
Had my 1 hour break, 3-4 with Yvonee, Janice and Clement. LOL! Didn’t know that Clement knew them as well and was going to meet them. What a small world!
Leadership was pretty fun, running here and there to stick leader’s name on their face etc.
But the forming of groups part was what pissed most people off.
There were a few criterias to selecting a group:
- Cannot be in the same school (Business, Engineering, Design, IT, AS)
- Cannot be in the same class/diploma
- Blah blah blah
So when I formed my group, with random people. It turned out all were in Business School! 3 Business Diploma and 1 HTM member.
The teacher wasn’t happy with that arrangement and went around changing everyone’s group. Even though everyone was protesting loudly, saying all is comfortable in their group, why change?
Sometimes it’s just the “aura” as what my Public Speaking tutor said, that makes one person click with another. Even though we haven’t met, I seriously thought my group will be great!
But my tutor excuse was: “In the real working world, you won’t get to choose”
So well, fair enough, change! But still my group turned out pretty good, just not too familiar with all the leader’s name.
Exchanged numbers, got to know each other better and well, hope to work fine!
For my individual movie analysis, I chose “Tears of the Sun” by Bruce Willis.
