Prunella Birthday

Hahaha we are waiting for Happy Feet =).
Today we went out with Prunella, for her early birthday celebration. She was sick, but sadly still managed to buy her golden shoes. Only girls like her can carry the golden shoe look, hor? For us, commoners, cannot wear such shoes. Too heavy for us.
My theory yesterday was correct. Andre Ng, a guy, was late for 2 hours. T-w-o-h-o-u-r-s. The next time you go out with him, you can always be late for 1 hour 55 minutes. No problem! We ate our lunch at 4 PM because I had church in the morning, my 2nd visit to church. Like what Shaun said, i'm a church virgin.
Basically, the service was in chinese, not that I don't understand chinese, but I just couldn't read it (the brochures, songs were in chinese). So I had some difficulty trying to sing along, and obviously I took the easier way out and that is to… not sing. I suppose it's alright because Serene was also hibernating with me. Shh… Overall it's ok la. SEE SERENE, I'M NOT COMPLAINING!!! HAHAHA.
Anyway, back to Prunella. we bought the Golden shoe for $80, each $20. The victims were:
- Gary Ler - $20
- Shaun Tham - $20
- Edric Tan - $20
- Andre Ng - $20
Sad… became $20 poorer. After buying it, we went to The Cathay at Douby Ghaut to catch the movie "Happy Feet" and god, it was an enjoyable movie. I enjoyed sitting there doing nothing. I mean, the show is… well, sort of entertaining but… yet boring at the same time.
Probably it's a movie for kids and I don't get their jokes, however the group of middle-age guys behind us were like laughing at EVERY NON-LAUGHABLE SCENE, DAMN WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM.
So irritating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid $9 to see penguins sing, not to hear them laugh!
Oh, did I mention, Serene met us for the movie? Hmm… after the movie, Shaun, Edric and me left for Serangoon Central for some Nasi Lemak, then I went home for my dog's birthday party. Ya la ya la, dog also got birthday party right? More lucky than me loh. My sister invited her friends, my bro invited his friends and so… ya, cheese cake for everyone?
I wanted to invite Serene and the others, but too bad we were out, unable to make it back in time for the BBQ anyway. So forgot about the whole thing.
