Passengers with weapons

Wouldn’t it be much safer if ‘flying’ passengers were to carry their own weapons while inflight, this way, if a few terrorist were to hijack a plane, the rest of the passengers will be able to take their weapons out of their pockets and pierce it through the hijacker’s skull into his brain.
Now, how fun is that :)?
What if the passengers are terrorist? And all start killing each other…haha
Since going to die, might as well die with honour hahahha
