Optical Illusion
This is a very bizarre optical illusion. At first glance the spinning lady appears to be circling in a clockwise motion. But if you look long enough - she will appear to change direction and start spinning counter-clockwise.
For me the switch didn't just happen - I had to look at her shadow and picture it going counter-clockwise. After about a minute, my brain flipped and the lady just started spinning backwards. Actually - I can't seem to convince my brain to get her to start going clockwise again. But it is pretty wild when you see the switch happen.
This is a tough one and it takes a lot of focus.

Well, it worked for me! Changed once only though. From anti-clockwise to clockwise and never back again.

All you’ve gotta do is read the whole paragraph and while your eyes are focusing on the words, don’t move your head, but move your eyeballs up to the picture.
It’ll just change.
It’s still moving in clockwise :(!
Changed pretty easily for me too. About every 30seconds for me.

hmm…don’t you think it might be that the animation changed direction?
Nope. Do it with another person beside you and both of you may see it spinning in different directions!
i just think the animation changes at different random times, notice which leg is being used, it changes suddenly. A seamless change in animation? Highly likely.
The GIF file is only a mere 200kb, it’s not possible for it to have a ‘programmed’ change in direction for the next minute. 200kb is only enough for maybe 1 spin. The rest is up to your own brain to make it change.
i can see it change every half a turn.focus on the leg that is out.try thinking that it will change direction when you are looking at the side of the lady.
