Here's my M1 USB Modem

They rented me 3 cables for free, and if I lose it, I will have to pay $20 per cable and $350 for the modem.

It's to keep the USB modem from dangling when the lappy is on your lap.

Good when you are using your laptop on a flat surface.

2 headed USB wire, for use with 2 laptops with 1 modem.

I had to plug it in at the back, because for the side, it will be blocking my air vent and probably cause my laptop and the device itself to overheat.

It's a plug and play thing, so bring it along with you and use it on any computer. When you plug it in, your Operating System will auto detect (only for Windows), for Macs, you will have to use the installation CD provided.

For the first time, when you run it, it will be installing until this popup shows, open it.

Installing, connecting was a piece of cake. Everything just worked so well. Internet speed was fantastic even though I was on the cheapest plan, $22/month, 384kbps.

Price: 3/5
Ease of use: 4/5
Installation: 4/5
Speed: 4/5

Overall, if you are a road warrior, this device will definitely be of assistance. I will recommend the PC card for laptop users instead of the bulky USB modem which I am starting to regret. Called up M1 and asked for a change, they said that I will be charged $21. So, choose wisely.

    Not too bad a choice.
If you live in the west, you can consider Qmax.
