Late late late

25Nov06

Recently I have been into the habit of planning my time wrongly. For example, every time. How many of you are into the late late super late habit?

For example, I was late twice continuously when I was out with Serene and that pretty made my day! However, I feel more comfortable going out with guys because even if I'm 15 minutes late, I believe Shaun will be half an hour late. The only early birds will be Edric and Timothy, so my point is I feel more comfortable going out with Shaun Tham because he will always cover my ass.

I'm trying very hard to not be late. But also, I do not wish to wait for people, because i'm a lazy person who hates standing up in a crowded MRT station seeing guys get rejected. The story is that, I was standing beside this pretty girl, well, at least from the side view, then there was this guy, botak, quite tall and big sized wearing an ugly black orbiang sunglasses and a long sleeve sweater thus making him look like a stupid mafia, approached the girl for her number with 3 of his friends looking at him.

Well, pretty obviously I was over there "reject, reject, reject". AND YES! The girl shook her head giving a nice 'sorry' smile. I was controlling my laughter so hard I had to pretend to move away for a while, so as to not get shot by the white mafia.

There's nothing shameful in getting rejected, I laughed because of his facial expression.

This is why I hate waiting for people, because there will always be funny stuffs happening in Singapore.

To prevent such stuff from happening, I should always plan my time well. Better to be early, but not too early. And never late, especially when you are out with girl (but with Shaun it's alright, see above).

Estimate the travelling time, for example, to Aljunied MRT, it takes my bus 17 minutes. Include an unlucky 10 minutes for missing a bus. Which totals up to 27 minutes just for a bus ride to Aljunied.

Now that the train has a pretty much fixed 5 minutes interval, and that the timing are located beside the station name, it's sooooo much easier to plan your arrival time.

If everything goes smoothly, like if the bus were to arrive on time just when I step out of my house, and the train comes when I step on the platform, I will be early by 15 minutes.

But - life is never - like - that. So don't worry, at most you will be early by 5 minutes =)!

Thank goodness this Shaun isn’t me. But still, name spoil already.. XD Girls would now have more reason to reject me at MRT stations… and that’s on top of my Mafia look.

“This is why I hate waiting for people, because there will always be funny stuffs happening in Singapore.” - Maybe you should start a SFV - Singapore’s funniest home videos! Sure make alot of money one, and you don’t even need people to submit videos. Just record yourself, vote for yourself and give yourself the prize for funniest video. Oh wait, don’t… I will do it!
