I just discovered a new site while reading an Economics book. It’s called Kiva.org, an organisation which helps entrepreneurs in third world country to get a loan from the ‘lenders’ in richer country, like mine.

So I went to visit it and I thought it was pretty interesting. It’s not really a donation, it’s a loan, which means there is a chance you will get it back in the future.

I visited this woman’s profile, read the description and loaned USD$25 to her. Not much, but hope it can help. I think it’s so interesting, while browsing I might actually loan more.

When I clicked “lend now” the amount raised so far was zero. But by the time I finished the ‘check out’ process by Paypal, USD$300 was raised already. So happy for her!
