Installed Ubuntu on my portable 2.5" ext HDD, and installed grub by mistake into my mbr, and now my Vista fails to boot. Unable to recover it also because the damn Asus recovery disk is so useless it doesn't have a function for me to press 'r' to boot recovery mode. Argh! What a useless disk.

And worse of all when I try to format, I get a big read "ERROR" filling my whole screen.
