Horrible looking tropica fruits at Gary Ler’s Journal

Why is it that most tropica fruits are so ugly? I won't include the Durian here as a design because it has been transformed into something iconic.

This, to this:

First, I present you the Mangosteen:

What about Dragon Fruit? Yucks.

Not forgetting the Rambutans

I think I go for fruits with a better appearance, such as the orange.
