I am feeling happy right now even though the lightning has conquered all the GRCs. Why? Because the Crown Prince has taken only 66% of the votes in AMK. That is considered to be VERY BAD in Singapore context. Hammer has managed to sway the voters to their side, but still failed to reach their target of 40% mainly because of the 140th in the world (refer to previous post). But then again, 6 never heard of oppositions whom our king called "the suicide squad" STILL MANAGED TO GET 33%!!! Aljunied was the best of all, Lightning taking 56% of the votes while the hammer take 44% having a difference of 20 000 votes. Overall I believe Hammer has done amazingly well comparing this year's results to the previous erection. Good job!!! Now I fear for further increase in GST, bus fares, utilities bills and even ERP charges. 30% of the overall votes while having only 2 seats out of 84 seats?! Great job Democracy!! Score 66 marks and you are a distinction student!
