FireFTP

4e4 gathering on this Friday (2 Feb), at Serenity Park. NO BBQ. BRING JUNK FOOD AND WHATEVER OTHER FOOD YOU CAN PROVIDE.

FireFTP is one of the thousand FREE plugins for Mozilla Firefox web browser.

I loved the simplicity of IE6 Drag-and-drop FTP thing, you enter ftp.whatever.com, login with your username and password and just right click "paste."

DONE! The damn file is uploaded just like that. I loved this feature, too bad, I have been with Firefox since I don't know when.

So yes, I gave up that feature. And I occasionally use it in the office for transmitting files from office to home. It's a good thing, hell to thumb drives.

So anyway yes, I was Googling for such a thing which can integrate FTP into a browser. And I got this. It works on all platform, so long as it runs Firefox. I'm using it on a Tiger now, and it's really running great.

Without considering, I donated USD$2. Well, it's better than not donating. After all, the money goes to charity (read the site), so yeah I guess the USD$2 is well spent. I'll consider to donate more as time goes by and see whether or not, is it a major improvement to my life.  It might be.
