Shanghai is such a great city, yet to be explored by me. I hope I will have a great experience there! Anyway when I took my passport out for some checking, I realised that it has been soaked in water before. Smudged chops. Got a bit worried that it will be damaged, so brought it down to ICA today.

The ticketing girl told me that it has already been damaged, and I need a replacement passport. BUT I WILL BE FLYING OFF ON SATURDAY! AND IT WILL TAKE 4 WORKING DAYS! SHIT! So that 'ticketing girl' asked me to look for the officer for an interview. There were 10 people before me, and each person take between 5 - 10 minutes, that means it will take 35 minutes AT LEAST. So I went down for my lunch at number 73, curry chicken with vegetable and rice. $3.50 =\ cheat people money one.

Went up, I was at number 76, meaning only 3 people passed me. Waited till number 81. WHAT IF the officer rejects my appeal? What should I do to him? Insist that it must be done? Hmm… so lucky to have brought my SIA e-ticket to show it.

Went in the room, filled up a form and everything else went fine. I will be collecting my passport at 8am. Great! My new biometric passport which costed me $80 dollars… tsk. NETS OR CASH?

Then I went down to Heartland Mall to change some chinese yuan (RMB). Feels to good to have a thick wallet. But it feels awkward though, as compared to the Japanese Yen which counts in tens of thousands, I am counting RMB in thousands :(!! After changing SGD to RMB, went down to Cold Storage for some shopping. Then came home, was super tired. The stupid ICA experience took me more than 2 hours !!!!

Damn just realised I forgot to put my Hokkaido photos on Flickr… because i'm lazy. This time round, no worries! I will be bringing my lappy to Shanghai for immediate photoshopping, so no more lazing around! And best of all, you guys will get instant updates :D!

Expected amount of photos: 1.2k… at least 600 photos, definitely.
