My school's server was so overloaded that many was not able to login until 11:30am, when the selection was supposed to be at 10am. They just wasted 1.5 hours of my life, thanks. I woke up expecting to go back to sleep again in 5 minutes, and I had to stay up for 1.5 hours and now, I can't sleep! Quite obviously, it's based on first come first serve basis. That's why everyone is flocking online at 10am to get the course they desire.

The school should have used a different approach to such selection, probably hold it over a span of 3 days. And for example, if there are 999 slots available for Sociology (which is my first choice), then split it up into 3 days with 333 slots open on each day. So the first 333 students who applied for Sociology on that day itself will get it, while the remaining 666 will be reserved for the 2nd and 3rd day.

Edric, Shaun and I were camping at TP's website from 9:40am, and, when it the clock hit 10am, the site was not updated until 10:30am? Even so, I seen the page a few times only and was unable to load any further than the login.

What an irritating day, I had to press F5 until my keyboard is spoilt.

But i'm happy to be in Temasek Polytechnic. Reminded me of the old days where I had to choose between going to JC and a Polytechnic. Choosing my course, going through the same process of MOE's website and selecting my future (which has NO lag).

It has been fast, it's coming to July already. Time flies when you are in Poly. Project due dates approaching… ahhh!

BTW i'm in Business Studies for those who don't know :D!
