I’m back from Beijing! Time really passes slowly in Beijing. My hotel didn’t change for the entire tour, which was a good thing because packing is not a daily event then. And packing is winter is darn troublesome.

The activities on Day One was basically just flying from 1am to 7am, eat breakfast, go back hotel sleep till 4pm and move out to watch the Acrobatics show. I was seated right at the back, but thanks to my 10x optical zoom, I managed to take a few shots.

The next notable event was the visit to “Forbidden City.”DSCF3520

Another boring place. The thing about Beijing is that, there are too many historical places which I hate. To the older generation, they will love it. But to me, it’s just similar places with similar buildings!

That is me, in front of the entrance.

I don’t know what is that. Just some rock. Every rich man place will have rocks.

I got scolded here, but the soldier.

WALK FASTER WALK FASTER! DON’T TAKE PHOTOS! MOVE MOVE!!!

In Mandarin of course, no one is allowed to stop to avoid any hogging of the traffic. That is how busy Tian An Men is. The army presence in that area is huge. You have a soldier like, every few steps you take. Big bro is watching!

The National Grand Theatre, or ‘The Egg’ is just beside Tian An Men square.

After that was Shaolin Kungfu performance. Very nice performance, one of the best out of the total of 5 performances I watched in Beijing.

Happy Valley! A major Theme Park in Beijing, as you can see from the picture. That was just ONE ride. Very very beautiful!
