I went Kayaking on the 27th, forgot to blog about it.

Today's the 29th and it's our 1st month together, our anniversary. I love Serene.  She had Vball competition in the morning, so we only met at 4PM, well, I was late by half-an-hour apparently and I'm feeling so guilty, I should have taken a train!

We met at Suntec and went to walk around, went to Carrefour and saw this book clearance sale, apparently of used books because of their conditions. Anyway it ranges from $3 to $5, so we bought a total of 8 books. I got 3, namely:

• Negotiating
• Weight Control
• Dilbert's Comic by Scott Adams

Talking about Weight Control, I have put on weight. That's the main reason on my purchase of that book. I have been unconcious about my weight for a far too long period of time, only to put on something like 3 kilograms. And I want to get it of my body. Not by dieting, yet at least. I'll go down the healthy way, unlike someone… cough cough.

I admit i'm a boring guy, I like self-help books and perhaps that's the reason why sometimes I think positively… err… unless when it comes to the weather. For example, today, I regretted not taking the outdoor seat for my dinner fearing it will rain. When obviously the ambience outside is nicer because of the fountain, trees, lighting and whatever.

Indoor wasn't that bad actually, it's nice just that it's too cramp and I hate sitting too closely with 2 other couples. I'm in the middle.

After Suntec, we cabbed down to Middle Road for MY SECRET GARDEN, got the location right and so we walked to Bugis for neoprints. It was our FIRST TIME taking it together, and trust me, we were total noobs when it comes to editing.

Then went to the restaurant. We got the table number 7.

Service: 9/10, can say it's good with frequent refill of water. And that's what determines it all.
Food: 7/10, nothing special to rant about… marks deducted for small serving.
Ambience: 8/10, good for it's price. Though, it's better to take the seat outside OR choose another table which is more spacious.

I ordered a set meal, while Serene, detesting everything she sees, decided to have a chicken salad.

The set meal includes:

1. Garlic Bread
2. Mushroom soup
3. Ceasar Salad
4. Main course, which is Oxtail Stew with mash potato
5. Ice Cream

Cost: $35

And to top it up, a Triple Choc for $7. Extremely sinful, but extremely delicious.

The damage was $67, for 2 person (1 set + 1 salad + 1 dessert).

Great place for an anniversary dinner, but not occasionally of course. At least for me.

I apologise for not having any photos of the food or place because, a good ambience means dark lighting with a candle. Both of us only had our camera phones and… neither could n80 or a 838pro take the food in style.

Went to Bugis for a walk, then went to her house.

Great day, great girl, great everything! I love her!
