My name is Gary Ler, and I was born on the 12th of July 1990. I am currently in year 2 at Temasek Polytechnic completing my Business Diploma, in which I will be specialising in Banking & Finance.

I have a great interest in current affairs, economics and finance, but no i’m not going to be politician. My past schools are St. Gabriel’s Primary School & St. Gabriel’s Secondary School. I got into the Express stream with my PSLE result, and for O’ Level, I qualified for a few JCs, but chose the Poly route instead.

I have been playing tennis since something like sec 1 (took up lessons), and golf since primary 6 by Craight Mclean? But now, i’m retaking golf again with Jason Tan (as at 29th June it’s the 3rd lesson). Hoping to get into the course and play extraordinary well. My dream is to play in Laguna’s Master Course which seems really difficult to me.

My tennis racket is a Barbolat Pure Drive and I have another Wilson nCode 95, but I broke it out of anger (the frame cracked) and I really regretted my unsporting and retarded action of throwing the racket on to the ground which it then bounced off the surface and flew up to my head level.

I believe that it is essential to be out on every weekend. Friday, Saturday & Sunday… and leave a day for sports. Like, tennis or golf on Sunday.

Countries I have been to: Malaysia (20 over times), Australia (4 times), China (2 times), Japan (2 times) & Indonesia (once but will frequent Batam more for golf in the future).
